The latest version of Data ONTAP 7.2.4 embedded operating system for IBM System Storage N series is available on the IBM web site. Entitled customers may download this release of Data ONTAP and related documentation including Release Notes from the N series support web site:

IBM strongly recommends customers upgrade their already installed N series storage controllers to Data ONTAP 7.2.4. This maintenance release of Data ONTAP has a significant number of fixes that improve N series reliability and availability. This maintenance release has been tested and generally supports the widest range of interoperability with N series and other third party features and products.

This version of Data ONTAP applies to all IBM Systems Storage N series models with the exception of the following models which currently support Data ONTAP 7.2.2L1.
